Our services focus on academic support, drop out diversion, and absenteeism prevention through individualized one on one mentoring.

Preparing our youth

At even a 1-2% attendance rate below certain targets, school districts can lose out on millions of dollars annually. They may also incur millions in indirect costs to identify and rectify chronically absent students’ academic deficits and to diagnose the root conditions at fault. Finally, students who often miss school tend to have lower graduation rates, meaning communities lose more money on the students’ lost earnings potential and/or incur costs related to welfare or even prison. Mentorship that contextualizes the need for school attendance within the framework of individual goals can be part of the solution.
